What to expect
Today you will meet a local historian at the center of Colombo for a unique experience of The Political and Commercial Capitals of Sri Lanka, Sri Jayawardanapura Kotte and Colombo. As you drive past the Old Parliament in Colombo towards the current capital along the streets of Colombo you will learn the story of Chinese and Indian involvement in Sri Lanka that goes back centuries while you see the current effects with your own eyes. Exploring remaining ruins of the lost kingdom through different modes of transportation (Drive around the ramparts, walk to the monuments and take a boat ride along the western rampart). It will genuinely make one wonder if this is really a tale from six centuries ago or the current realities of socio-economics and geopolitics. It is a unique story of an intrigue, mystery and exhilaration, a time you will surely remember as a wonderful, one-of-a-kind experience.
